CHRISTMAS TIME IS ON THE WAY

TIME HAS COME FOR ME TO SAY
MAY ALL THE JOYS THAT FILL A HOME
WITH HAPPINESS AND CHEER
AND EACH DAY OF THE YEAR.

GREETINGS, from the "un-retired" KAISERS. YUP, we came out of
retirement. MARV is the "ROAD OVERSEER" for the township, and I
waitress at the local cafe. HE loves being the boss (for a change). I
like people, so I wait on them. We spent all winter here. Marv waiting
to hear whether or not he had the job, and me, - waiting on people.
This year, we hope to go south for at least a month. Twice we went
south to Chicago. Once for nephew, Roger's wedding reception, and the
second time to celebrate brother BUD's 60th BIRTHDAY. We had a
wonderful time. Bud was not expecting us, his surprise was GREAT.
Thoughts while riding home - "Is he only one year older than I am?
Last year Krys said "Hi" to marriage. This year she said "By" to
marriage. Last year Kraig lived in California and said "No Way" to
marriage. This year he moved back here and said "It's Time". COLLEEN,
his present leading lady, is flying in from California for Christmas.
We are so anxious to meet her. Kraig has had two successful hunting
seasons. A deer and a dear. A wedding, maybe? Karen had a total hip
replacement in September. After many years of pain, she finally found a
doctor that believed her pain and believed he could help her. She is
doing GREAT. Had to give up her crutches a little early though, so Don
could use them. He is miserable, pulled all the ligaments in his right
foot while playing volleyball. Soon the "HOP ALONG SMITHS" will have an
addition in their home. A second bathroom. Marv said they need one -
so Marv is in charge of building one. Freska put to sleep in Sept.,
Bought a Buick Skylark in Sept. Kurt just finished an Emergency Medical
Technician course. He wants to get out of the mechanic business and be
a full time fireman. Poor Heidi, everytime Kurt sought her out, it was
only to practice blood pressure and pulse readings. Keith & Sharon now
live in a beautiful new home in Lakeville. Getting there was not easy.
Late shipments, wrong shipments, no shipments, tired workers, no
workers, crabby workers, bad weather, one catastrophe after another was
how they built that house, but it is BEAUTIFUL. WANT TO DO IT AGAIN,
KIDS? Brendan & Shannon like their new neighborhood and new school.
Bridget "our little clown" is happy wherever she is. The twins? They
are in third grade now. They love to visit up here. They are avid
fishermen-persons?
KEITH & SHARON WILL HOST SIXTEEN OF US ON CHRISTMAS DAY. In the
evening Sis, her family, brother Bob and mother will join us - HOW
BLESSED WE ARE.
THE SAME BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES,
LOVINGLY,
The Kookie Kaiser Klan
